District Health Boards New Zealand (DHBNZ) was formed by all 21 DHBs to provide a sector group through which DHBs could coordinate their activities at a national level on selected issues. The overall purpose of DHBNZ is to assist DHBs in meeting their objectives and accountabilities to the Crown.
DHBNZ is a small active organisation that facilitates and coordinates strategic activity across DHBs and links with other sector agencies as appropriate. DHBNZ supports DHBs through collaboration and collective activity.
DHBNZ is looking to appoint a Senior Workforce Analyst for the Health Workforce Information Programme. The purpose of this role is to collect, standardise and analyse workforce data to produce high quality reports to key HWIP stakeholders. The Senior Workforce Analyst will also undertake labour market modelling and produce forecasting reports.
The ideal candidate will have suitable tertiary qualification, a demonstrated knowledge of the NZ health sector and of labour market modelling, excellent applied data analysis skills, experience using SAS and/or SQL computer languages and excellent report writing skills.
