Health Workforce Information – Base Data Report

Please note: The release of quarterly reports is on hold as ANZSCO is fully implemented through the DHB sector.  Once fully embedded, a year in review report will be produced and quarterly release cycle will resume.  Thanks for your patience and please do not hesitate to contact us with your specific requirements.

The HWIP:BaseData Reports are published on this website on a quarterly basis.

The Reports provide information on a significant part of the health and disability sector - DHB employees.

HWIP has taken a phased approach to collecting workforce information starting with the DHB employees and is now engaging with the primary health and non-government health and disability sector to extend the collection.

Providing the health sector with actual workforce data supports discussions around how best to deliver to New Zealand's future health sector workforce needs.
