Health Workforce Information – Base Data Report

The Quarterly Reports were put on hold for a period of time as we concentrated our efforts on data quality improvements across the data set, in particular the implementation of ANZSCO coding at the DHBs. During this time the data continued to be collected, but not published. If you have any specific data requirements from this period, please do not hesitate to contact us on the email address at the bottom of the page.

We are now pleased to announce that the Reports have been reinstated, the first one being the June 2010 Quarter, and will now appear on the website on a quarterly basis.

The Reports provide ‘snapshot’ information on the District Health Boards employed workforce. Providing the health sector with actual workforce data supports discussions around how best to deliver to New Zealand’s future health sector workforce needs.
