What is TMP?
Top Management Programme (TMP) is a key initiative for developing the next CEOs and senior managers for the New Zealand health sector.
Who is TMP for?
- Senior executives from the Ministry of Health, District Health Boards and DHB funded organisations,
- who have a substantial record of accomplishment in management, and are seen as having the potential for further advancement toaCEOrole.
- Senior executives with the intellectual power, personal energy and commitment to both benefit from, and make a significant contribution to, the Top Management Programme.
Programme Structure
- Participants will, during a twelve-month action, learning development programme:
- Cover leading edge leadership and management thinking
- Develop new skills and insights
- Have their attitudes and beliefs challenged
- Complete a project of national significance
- Be exposed to international trends and experience in health system reform
- Build national and international networks
- To gain maximum participant benefit classes are restricted to 24 participants.
Intending applicants should complete the Application form. The relevant CEO must support the application.
Your application information is to outline your case for selection to TMP. It will provide your assessment of strengths and development needs and what you expect to gain from participants in the TMP programme.
