The Nurse Practitioner Innovations fund was established to help build NP numbers by supporting NP employment. It is part of the bigger Nurse Practitioner Facilitation project managed by the 21 District Health Boards’ Future Workforce programme. Thirteen Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioner employers have received innovations funding.
The successful applicants were from employers such as PHOs, NGOs and DHBS and some applications from individual NPs. The applications came from all over the country.
This page profiles the business cases developed by the successful applicants.
Disclaimer: The innovations assessment and selection process was undertaken using a nominated panel of judges external to DHBNZ.
Note: Business cases may have changed slightly since original application in preparation for website viewing.
