The survey accessed via the link below should be used by people with ideas for DHB collective procurement. The survey guides you through the key content required by the Procurement Steering Group (PSG) when assessing a new proposal and ensures an appropriate process is followed for good ideas raised by the sector. The PSG follows a ‘value for money’ approach when evaluating ideas which seeks the best outcome for total cost of ownership. Not all good ideas can be actioned at once so this process assists us with prioritising potential projects as well.
You will be asked to
- Indicate the spend by DHBs in the area of your idea
- Indicate the status of funding (current, proposed, yet to be approved)
- Indicate the expected timeframe for realisation of gains
- Provide details of any evaluation and/or cost/benefit analysis which has been undertaken
- Outline any clinical, skills/information and equipment implications that a project in this area might have
