Advisory Group
The Advisory Group is the key group for dynamic debate and testing of PHO Performance Programme’s content, clinical relevance and business sustainability in order to deliver on the Programme’s quality improvement purpose.
The Advisory Group provides practical guidance, advice and expertise to the Programme’s Governance Group and Programme staff (consistent with direction given by the Governance Group) on:
- Programme sustainability, practicability and implementation issues
- Reviewing and evaluating evidence to support specific indicators
- Implementation of changes to the Programme Indicators, Weightings, Timings and Transition, having regard to all relevant factors including submissions received in response to consultation
- Future programme direction and options
- The Programme’s Strategic and Annual Plans in line with Governance Group’s directions
- The application of programme incentives
- Strengthening PHO-Provider relationships and capability
- Improving data quality
- Development of target-setting methodologies
- Sharing of information relevant to the Programme
- Timely reporting to the Governance Group as required by them and to PHOs as appropriate
- Any other matters referred by the Governance Group and/or Programme staff.
