PP001.1.1 Clinical Performance Indicator Services
The purpose of the CPI service is to identify a preferred supplier who will be able to pilot future indicators for the Programme within their existing environment. The selection of the future indicators will be based on work completed by the Programme team in consultation with Programme Governance and Advisory Groups.

PP002.1.1 Evaluation of the PHO Performance Programme
It was always intended that the PHO Performance Programme would be subjected to an evaluation to assess what impact the Programme is having on the health of the New Zealand population. Ideally the results of any evaluation should assess whether the Programme is either directly or indirectly:
- Improving health outcomes
- Reducing health inequalities
- Allocating resources appropriately
- Aligned with policy priorities
